Taupo fly fishing trips - October to June

Summer fishing is the time for fishing to large sighted trout. Whenever possible we will guide you in this style. The smaller streams in the region open on the 1st of October and remain open until the 31st May. Early summer most fishing is with nymphs. During the peak of summer we will try to find you as many dry fly fishing opportunities as possible.

Single day options

Half day local stream	- Half day 8.30am-1pm or 1pm to 5.30pm.
	- Experience a local stream or river.
	- 1 angler NZ$350 2 anglers NZ$400
Includes - Guide, transport and use of fishing equipment. Fishing licence $21 per person.

Full day backcountry trips	Pick up at 8.30am, drop off 5.30pm
	Experience some of New Zealand's best trout fishing for wild Brown and rainbow trout.
	1 angler NZ$650 2 anglers NZ$700
Includes - Guide, transport, use of equipment if required, lunch and refreshments. Additional cost for licences $21 per person.

Overnight and Multiday trips

Any number of single day trips can be taken from Taupo. Taupo is a perfect base for those wanting Hotel luxuries by night and outdoor activities by day. We recommend staying at the Caboose Lodge(copthorne hotel) Taupo.

Those more adventurous anglers will enjoy an overnight or multiday backcountry experience. An overnight trip will allow access to some of the North islands best fly fishing locations combining superb fishing experiences with the solitude of our chosen retreats provide.

Prices start from $1490 for a single person overnight with two days guided fishing and 1 day of exclusive access. As the Best locations vary depending on the time of year.
